Players can choose between the adaptable Grand Auditorium and the compact Grand Concert, both outfitted with backs and sides of premium Honduran rosewood and tops of beautifully striped sinker redwood. Honduran rosewood’s high density and damping traits give it a complex overtone profile with rich harmonic texture along with top-end fidelity and bass-range warmth akin to its Indian counterpart. Sinker redwood, sourced from trees that have been submerged in California riverbeds, yields a warm, round voice with excellent soft-touch responsiveness and a high volume ceiling.
