Each Builder’s Edition model sports lovingly contoured edges and lines, with every design element reconsidered for maximum playability. Beveled cutaways with a thoughtfully placed carve provide an easy place to anchor your fretting hand when accessing the guitar’s highest frets, while a matching beveled armrest creates a smooth surface for your strumming arm. Non-cutaway models feature chamfered body and fretboard edges as well as a compound carve neck profile that accommodates the changing angle of your fretting hand as you move up the neck.

New Builder’s Edition Guitars
We kick off 2025 with a pair of models inspired by last year’s 50th Anniversary collection: the Builder’s Edition 814ce, crafted with back and sides of Honduran rosewood paired with an Adirondack spruce top, and a counterpart model built with a sinker redwood top. Honduran rosewood’s high density and damping traits give it a supremely high-fidelity voice with an exceptionally full, robust overtone profile.
