Born from the lush landscapes of Hawaii and informed by our commitment to responsible forestry practices, the all-koa 700 Series features our Select grade of Hawaiian koa, discovered during our recent forest restoration efforts there. Visually, this koa exhibits richly variegated colors and straight grain, and we’ve preserved that natural beauty with an open-pore matte finish that’s so thin you can feel the wood grain. Sonically, this minimizes damping, serving up a punchy and vibrant attack with plenty of koa’s naturally woody midrange character. Both the Grand Auditorium 724ce and Grand Concert 722ce feature organic appointments that include rosewood binding, a wood pickguard, elegant mother-of-pearl Fountain inlays, a single-ring rosette in rosewood and paua, and polished bronze tuners, all of which complement koa’s natural beauty. These guitars look and feel as appealing as they sound.
